Our brands delight consumers all over the world. Our decades-long heritage and deep knowledge of our craft is what makes this possible. Even as we preserve the legacy brands Deoleo is famous for, we are nurturing, researching and developing new ideas to create olive oil that combines history with innovation
“My job as a sensory analyst requires knowledge about olive oil – its smells, flavours and everything that has to do with its organoleptic characteristics. My job is to select the oil that comes from different suppliers and classify it according to its attributes. I love sharing my experiences and knowledge with my colleagues, friends and family and learning new things about olive oil every day.”
– Marta Durantez, Sensory Analyst and Master Blender, Deoleo
Evolving through science and innovation
For centuries, our brands have been a familiar presence in households. We are proud of this rich history; however, the future of our business, and of olive oil, is just as important to us. We are investing in innovation, leveraging the latest science and technology to take our brands forward and developing products that continue to excite and nourish.
We are placing ourselves at the forefront of food science. Through our Istituto Nutrizionale Carapelli in Italy, we are advancing the understanding of the health benefits of olive oil and uncovering the role our products play in wellbeing. Bringing together this knowledge with state-of-the-art facility upgrades, we are continuously advancing and developing how things are done.
Delivering internationally acclaimed product quality
We are proud of the global recognition our products receive. It encourages us to continue innovating to raise the bar on quality and sustainability. Throughout 2020, we won 55 awards for our oils. Additionally, so far this year, we have been awarded 24 more medals.
We are committed to delivering quality in every bottle and we are honoured that this dedication is recognised by organisations globally. Throughout 2020, we selected four of our iconic brands to participate in prestigious global olive oil competitions.
