‘Carapelli For Art’, the III edition is on!

Carapelli 4 Art

Carapelli Firenze has renewed its commitment to supporting culture by opening another visual arts competition.

The third edition of the ‘Carapelli For Art’ International Visual Arts Competition has asked entrants to share their interpretation of the theme ‘Roots’. This broad concept can encompass a wide range of ideas including identity, history & tradition, places of origin, nature, personhood and many more. This should make for a wonderful range of entries to the competition.

Carapelli is honoured to invite four prominent figures within the world of art to be on the competition’s jury: Elisa del Prete, curator and producer in the visual arts, Massimiliano Tonelli, editorial director of Artribune, Matteo Innocenti, curator, historian, art critic and journalist, and Gabriele Tosi, independent curator and artistic director of Localedue in Bologna.

The winning artists will be announced in October and we look forward to their work becoming a part of the Carapelli Collection.

During this difficult time, Carapelli views this project as a message of hope and a way to support the art community during this tough period.
