It’s the season of giving

As we continue to adapt ourselves to these changing circumstances, many families continue to face uncertainty due to the health emergency. It is for this reason, Carbonell has launched its solidarity campaign “Much More Than Food” to provide dinner to 1,000 people in need on Christmas Eve.

Carbonell has recruited more than 200 volunteers to help cook alongside 30 renowned chefs. With the help of the Fundación Banco de Alimentos (Food Bank Foundation) in Madrid, the meals prepared will reach hundreds of families, who have been most affected by the difficulties arising due to the pandemic. The delicious meals will be prepared on the 21st and 22nd of December. Each chef will design a special Christmas Eve menu – consisting of a starter, main course, and dessert – and make their facilities available to volunteers.

On the 23rd and 24th of December, the meals will be delivered to the Fundación Banco de Alimentos (Food Bank Foundation) in Madrid, so that each family can collect it safely. The meeting points will take place in various neighborhoods such as Villa de Vallecas, Usera, Villaverde, Latina, San Blas-Canillejas and Chamartín.
