Bertolli, Carapelli, Carbonell all win gold at Spain’s CINVE awards
Bertolli Black Label, Carapelli Founders, Carbonell Magna Oliva – all popular products from Deoleo – each won a gold diploma at last month’s CINVE International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition held in Cáceres, Spain.
Products from more than 20 countries were entered in the 12th edition of the competition for the Gran CINVE, which recognises companies that guarantee high quality. For the winners, the award facilitates sales at the national and international levels.
We have all been living in difficult times, but, as the CINVE International awards once again demonstrated, nothing prevents the efforts of makers to continue producing drinks and dressings of the highest quality – or from these efforts to continue being rewarded. These products continue to deserve recognition, and that is why the mission for which CINVE was created remains intact: to reward the very best.
Achieving the CINVE label is a valuable argument for the sales teams and offers a guarantee to consumers who are used to distinguishing this quality seal among the products they buy.
The Extra Virgin Olive Oil Tasting Competition held in Cáceres from March 19 to 21 inaugurated the 2021 edition of this prestigious event.
A jury made up of some of the most prominent professionals on the international olive oil scene conducted a blind tasting of the best Spanish and international extra virgin olive oils. Among the experts were highly qualified bromatologists, tasting–panel directors and biologists.
